FrogWatch is a citizen-science project in which volunteers collect and submit data on calling frogs and toads in ponds and wetlands around Kingman + Heritage Islands. FrogWatch events take place 30 min after sunset and will last for two hours. To learn more about FrogWatch, click here. Pre-registration is required. Please click here to register on the Kingman Island Squarespace.
FrogWatch monitoring sessions include over a mile of walking on the islands at night. FrogWatch is recommended for high schoolers and adults, as young children have a hard time staying quiet for multiple 5 minute increments during the monitoring walk.
