MLK Day Invasive Species Removal at RFK Meadows with NPS

The National Capital Region Invasive Plant Management Team is hosting a non-native plant removal event on Monday, January 16th in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

During the event, participants will learn how to identify and control several non-native plants that are threatening our natural communities. This event will provide more habitat for native plants and animals to thrive!

Meet at the Anacostia River Trail by the entrance of Kingman and Heritage Islands: https://goo.gl/maps/FEqc8fxo89sTAJnT9. All supplies and instruction will be provided.
