Public Program- Stargazing Night

Join Living Classrooms and amateur astronomer Winfield Wilson for a night of urban stargazing on Kingman Island! Winfield will share his knowledge of the galaxies and allow participants the chance to look at the stars and planets (including a possible cameo from Jupiter) through his telescopes. During our pilot outing in December, we were able to see the rings of Saturn, Win is bringing the heat! We may need to make a last minute rescheduling (to 3/20 or 3/21) if cloud and atmospheric conditions are not optimal. Changes to the program date will be announced via email at least 24 hours prior to the event.

Before our program, an email will be sent out with specific information about meeting location and other event logistics. Participants will be asked to complete a waiver once they are on the island.

This program is limited to participants ages 7 and up.

Tickets for this fee program are available HERE.
